Our Story
CRYSTAL, the creator of the original mineral salt deodorant, has been leading the natural deodorant industry since 1984. We formulate our deodorants with clean ingredients that are always free of aluminum, parabens, silicones, phthalates, and artificial fragrances and colors.
Since our founding over 40 years ago, CRYSTAL has provided an effective, mineral-based line that’s vegan and cruelty-free. Our ingredients are non-toxic, and our packaging is eco-friendly.

From our humble beginnings, when our founder carted a suitcase full of our products around to department stores, to our presence around the world today, our passion has always guided us. We’ve remained committed to safe ingredients, environmentally friendly packaging, and our refusal to test on animals. We’ve also always pursued improvement, creating new products and working to reach more customers. Our journey isn’t complete, but we’re certainly proud of how far we’ve come.
Looking back, we’re most proud of the role our products have played in helping our customers pursue their passions. From the field to the conference room, our products keep working long after others would have quit. By making products that are strong under pressure, we’ve given many people one less thing to worry about as they face immense pressure in pursuit of their passions.
